Prato Centre, Italy

The Monash Prato Centre in Italy is part of Monash University's cross-disciplinary, multi-campus, multi-nation approach. We believe that, to excel, our graduates need to understand different cultures, economies and working practices, and our researchers need to collaborate with their counterparts around the world. The Monash Prato Centre allows our students to study overseas as part of their degree.

At Prato, we host:

  • intensive and semester-length undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • research activities including workshops, seminars and conferences
  • cultural events such as exhibitions, music and performing arts.

The Centre has teaching, study and research facilities, including offices, computer labs, a reading room, and the specialised Bill Kent Library, which houses a collection of titles about Medieval and Renaissance history and the fine arts.

There is no on-campus student accommodation at the Prato Centre, but you'll find a large range of short-term and long-term accommodation within walking distance.
